Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has launched the new Mercedes-Benz GLA 250 4MATIC, a vehicle that seamlessly combines sporty agility with lifestyle versatility. As the entry-level model in the Mercedes-Benz SUV lineup, this locally-assembled GLA 250 4MATIC brings a fresh design and cutting-edge technology to the forefront. The new GLA 250 4MATIC is available at a price of RM 295,888 (on the road without insurance).
The GLA 250 4MATIC features a variable all-wheel drive system with torque-on-demand, transferring excess torque to the rear axle as needed, especially enhancing driving stability on wet roads. Powered by a 2-litre four-cylinder engine paired with an eight-speed DCT dual-clutch transmission, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.8 seconds, delivering 165 kW (224 hp) and a maximum torque of 350 Nm.
To improve fuel efficiency, the petrol engine in the GLA 250 4MATIC is now electrified with a 48-volt on-board power supply and a belt-driven starter-generator. This setup provides an additional 10 kW of power for quick boosts and improved agility at startup, as well as smoother, quieter engine starts and the ability to coast with the engine off.
The GLA 250 4MATIC’s AMG Line exterior features a diamond radiator grille with chrome pins, a bonnet with subtle power domes, and a redesigned rear bumper with a diffuser, accentuating its sporty look. The front apron includes a silver simulated underguard, enhancing its commanding presence. Additionally, the vehicle boasts a modernized light signature with powerful LED High Performance headlamps equipped with Adaptive Highbeam Assist and LED rear lights. It rides on 19-inch AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels and is available in the new Spectral Blue metallic paint finish. 
Inside, the GLA 250 4MATIC offers a significantly upgraded interior with a free-standing double screen setup, featuring two 10.25-inch displays for the instrument cluster and multimedia screen. The latest generation of MBUX supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. For enhanced connectivity, the vehicle includes USB Package Plus with five illuminated fast-charging USB-C ports.
The interior is adorned with sports seats upholstered in ARTICO man-made leather and MICROCUT microfibre, and a light longitudinal-grain aluminum trim. The multifunction sports steering wheel is wrapped in Nappa leather. DYNAMIC SELECT, accessible via the steering wheel touch-control panels or central display, offers various driving programs with customizable settings for the engine, transmission, suspension, and steering. 
Comfort features include THERMATIC automatic climate control with two zones, allowing separate temperature settings for the driver and front passenger. Ambient lighting with 64 color options creates a personalized atmosphere, with ten color themes highlighting the air vents, doors, and instrument panel.
For safety, the GLA 250 4MATIC comes equipped with Blind Spot Assist, Exit Warning Assist, Parking Package with reverse camera, Active Parking Assist, Sports Brake System, and Active Brake Assist. The KEYLESS-GO Comfort package, EASY-PACK tailgate, HANDS-FREE ACCESS, GUARD 360° Vehicle Protection, and TIREFIT further enhance convenience and security.
