Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC) adds another Ford Ranger model to their model lineup. This model is the new Limited-Edition Ford Ranger StormTrak, which coincides with the introduction of SDAC’s online booking platform at shop.sdacford.com.my, where customers can now conveniently reserve any Ranger or Everest model. Notably, the Ranger StormTrak is exclusively available online, with only 200 units up for grabs.
Combining rugged capability, premium features, and advanced technologies, the Ranger StormTrak is an enhanced version of the popular Ranger WildTrak. It is designed to meet the diverse needs of adventurous individuals seeking both style and performance.
The Ranger StormTrak stands out with its unique exterior and interior StormTrak Scheme. It features 20-inch wheels with Asphalt Black matte paint and Race Red wheel inserts, a distinctive grille and bumper, and special emblems and livery that highlight its limited-edition status. The interior is equally impressive, with a dashboard accented by Race Red stitching, seats adorned with the StormTrak logo, Race Red stitching, and Miko® suede inserts, creating a premium and stylish cabin environment. 
Functionality is a key focus for the Ranger StormTrak, which introduces several first-in-class features. These include Auxiliary Lamps for off-road illumination, Zone Lighting to brighten the vehicle’s surroundings, and cargo lights for added convenience. The Flexible Rack System and Swing-in-Place Roof Rails enable one-handed adjustment of the sports bar and support versatile loads up to 80 kilograms (dynamic) and 250 kilograms (static), catering to both adventure and work needs. The vehicle also includes advanced technologies like the e-Shifter with a 10-speed automatic transmission, Auto Brake Hold, and Active Park Assist 2.0, similar to those found in the Ranger Raptor and Everest Titanium. 
SDAC emphasizes customer convenience through its online booking platform, allowing customers nationwide to browse and book their desired Ranger or Everest models. Those who book a Ranger StormTrak will receive a complimentary Limited Edition Ford Ranger windbreaker upon vehicle delivery. 
Powered by a 2.0L Bi-Turbo engine, the Limited-Edition Ford Ranger StormTrak is priced from RM181,888.00 (on-the-road without insurance) in Peninsular Malaysia, and RM188,288.00 (on-the-road without insurance) in Sabah and Sarawak. It is available in three exterior colors: Arctic White, Meteor Grey, and Absolute Black.
