Following its groundbreaking debut at Auto China Beijing 2024, Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur has launched the Lamborghini Urus SE in Malaysia. This milestone represents Lamborghini’s first hybrid plug-in version of their Super SUV, enhancing the Urus S with improved comfort, performance, efficiency, emissions, and driving pleasure. The Urus SE boasts an innovative 800 CV hybrid powertrain, cutting emissions by 80% and setting a new benchmark in its class.

The Urus SE delivers an exceptional driving experience, thanks to its hybrid system that enhances performance and dynamics on any surface. The vehicle incorporates an electric torque vectoring system and an electronic rear differential, providing more torque and power at any rpm. The re-engineered twin-turbo 4.0 V8 engine works seamlessly with the electric powertrain, producing 620 CV (456 kW) and 800 Nm of torque, while the electric powertrain adds 192 CV (141 kW) and 483 Nm of torque. Combined, they ensure a total output of 800 CV.

Equipped with a 25.9-kWh lithium-ion battery, the Urus SE can travel over 60 km in EV mode as a 100% electric 4WD vehicle. Its new centrally-located longitudinal electric torque vectoring system and electronic limited-slip differential provide optimal traction and agility on any surface, whether on a racetrack, desert dunes, ice, or dirt.

The Urus SE outperforms its predecessors with a power output of 800 CV at 6000 rpm and a torque of 950 Nm available from 1750 to 5750 rpm. With a weight-to-power ratio of 3.13 kg/CV, the Urus SE accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 312 km/h, making it the fastest production car in its segment.

The design of the Urus SE is updated for aerodynamic efficiency, featuring a new hood, LED headlight clusters, redesigned bumpers, and a rear hatch inspired by the Gallardo. These enhancements increase rear downforce by 35% at high speeds, improving stability. The new under-body air vents and air ducts enhance cooling by 15% and airflow management by 30%.

Inside, the Urus SE emphasizes Lamborghini’s “feel like a pilot” design, with a 12.3-inch central touchscreen and digital instrument cluster, updated graphics, and a range of customization options. The hybrid powertrain introduces four new Electric Performance Strategies (EPS) modes: EV Drive, Hybrid, Performance, and Recharge, in addition to the six existing Urus driving modes.

Available for booking through Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur at a starting price of RM 1,028,000 before taxes and customization, the Urus SE sets a new standard for performance, design, and technology in the Super SUV category.
