At the highly anticipated Malaysian Autoshow 2024, smart Malaysia proudly launched the All-New smart #3 SUV Coupe, opening the door for customer bookings. This landmark event, attended by notable figures including Azrul Reza Aziz, Chief Executive Officer of MARii, marked a significant milestone as Malaysia became the first ASEAN country to accept bookings for the much-anticipated smart #3.
Under the theme ‘Chase the Thrill,’ the launch aimed to spark excitement for the Premium Dynamic Urban Companion, which combines style, personality, and performance. The smart #3 has already earned international recognition, winning both the iF Design Award and the Red Dot Design Award, showcasing the exceptional design and innovation from the Mercedes-Benz global design team.
Early customers will receive exclusive smart official merchandise valued at up to RM1,500. This limited-time offer is available to the first 333 pre-booked customers, requiring a refundable RM1,000 booking fee. 
The smart #3 will be offered in three variants: BRABUS, Premium, and Pro, each tailored for the Malaysian market. These models feature a range of unique attributes, from elegant design to dynamic driving capabilities. Both the BRABUS and Premium versions include a best-in-class 22kWh AC charger, capable of charging the battery from 10% to 80% in under 3 hours. Additionally, the smart #3 is equipped with advanced safety technology, featuring 23 high-precision sensors that support 21 ADAS functions as standard, ensuring optimal safety on the road. 
The smart #3 Premium includes a Panoramic Halo Roof, CyberSparksLED+ with adaptive high-beam assist, an Illuminated Front Grille, and a 66kWh NCM Battery. It is powered by a 200kW/343Nm single motor driving the rear wheels, offering a WLTP range of 455km. 
For high-performance enthusiasts, the smart #3 BRABUS variant boasts an impressive 0-100km/h acceleration time, achieving best-in-class Rocket Launch Mode in just 3.7 seconds. This is powered by a 315kW/543Nm Dual-Motor intelligent All-Wheel-Drive powertrain, ensuring exceptional handling and traction, with a WLTP range of 415km. 
First impressions of the smart #3 reveal a strikingly handsome vehicle, incorporating the design elements of the smart #1 with sportier proportions. The smart #3’s sharper styling and longer body promise improved interior space, making it an overall positive first impression.
In conjunction with the smart #3 launch, smart Malaysia also introduced a new, more 
affordable pricing structure for the smart #1 Premium and Pro models, aimed at enhancing the ownership experience and strengthening customer relations. The new pricing for the smart #1 Pro is RM169,000, while the smart #1 Premium is priced at RM209,000. Additionally, new smart #1 Premium and Pro owners will receive a complimentary 4-year service package with their purchase.
