Angka-Tan Motor Sdn Bhd (ATM) is poised to transform the domestic logistics scene. At the Malaysia Commercial Vehicle Expo 2024, ATM unveiled three new trucks tailored for various light commercial applications, marking a significant step towards sustainable transportation solutions.
Headlining the lineup is the 2024 Foton eAumark, marking the official debut of the first pure-electric light-duty truck available for retail in Malaysia. The Foton eAumark BJ1045EVJAR3 epitomizes the trusted qualities of the Foton Aumark, now enhanced with pure electric propulsion for cleaner and more eco-friendly performance, aligning with ATM’s commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals and Malaysia’s green mobility targets. 
With dimensions of 5,960mm length, 2,000mm width, and 2,210mm height, the Foton eAumark boasts a single 3,360-mm wheelbase and a gross vehicle weight (GVW) ranging from 4,250kg to 6,000kg. Its permanent magnet synchronous electric motor delivers 115kW and over 900Nm of torque, powered by an 81.14kWh iron-phosphate battery from renowned EV battery supplier CATL, offering a WLTP-rated range of up to 200km.
Engineered to withstand Malaysia’s tropical climate, the Foton eAumark’s electric powertrain features IP67 water and dust resistance, along with high-temperature resistance verified by a 600°C ignition point. Equipped with LED headlights and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), the eAumark prioritizes safety and comfort, boasting a spacious cabin and user-friendly features like electronic power steering and an LCD instrument cluster. 
Positioned as the ideal choice for local businesses striving to reduce carbon emissions, every Foton eAumark comes with a complimentary 22kW AC Wallbox Charger, facilitating easy charging during downtime. Additionally, the truck can recharge from 20% to 100% SoC in just one hour using DC charging facilities, further enhancing its practicality for commercial operations.

In addition to the Foton eAumark, ATM unveiled the 2024 Foton Aumark S Euro 4, designed to comply with Euro 4 emission standards mandated by the Malaysian government. Available in four- and six-wheel configurations, the Aumark S Euro 4 offers improved emission outputs while maintaining the reliability and performance associated with the Aumark nameplate. 
Joining the Foton offerings is the 2024 Euro 4 JMC Vigus Pro White Series 4×2, expanding JMC’s lineup of light pickup trucks in Malaysia. Powered by a 2.0-litre Puma four-cylinder turbodiesel engine and equipped with modern amenities, the Vigus Pro White Series 4×2 combines affordability with utility, catering to urban workhorse needs.
