Direct Lending recently unveiled its partnership with Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad (Tan Chong) to launch a fully digital auto service financing plan that adheres to Shariah principles. This innovative initiative will be available at Nissan Service Centres across Malaysia.
The collaboration aims to enhance the customer experience for Nissan car owners by streamlining the financing process. Now, Tan Chong customers can conveniently check their financial eligibility and validate documents through Direct Lending’s online platform. This digital approach ensures immediate financing approval, a significant improvement over traditional methods. Car owners will enjoy greater flexibility in managing service and repair expenses, with repayment periods extending up to 12 months.
Applying for financing is a breeze, requiring just three simple steps. Applicants fill in their details, submit identification cards and the last three months’ bank statements, and finalize the process by making the first payment. Everything is seamlessly conducted via smartphone, from setting up monthly payments to signing the financing agreement.
Initially, Direct Lending services will be available at 10 selected Tan Chong’s Nissan Service Centres, with plans for nationwide expansion. This expansion underscores the commitment to providing accessible financing options to Nissan customers across Malaysia.
Importantly, the car service instalment plan offered by Direct Lending is fully Shariah-compliant, endorsed by Amanie Advisors, a respected global Islamic finance advisory firm. This endorsement ensures that the financing facility is accessible to all, aligning with Islamic financial principles. Direct Lending has already conducted over 130,000 financing eligibility evaluations, highlighting its track record and commitment to serving customers’ needs.
