Shell Malaysia has been at the forefront of aiding fleet and business owners in Malaysia in navigating the challenges posed by the Skim Kawalan Diesel Bersubsidi 2.0 (SKDS 2.0). Since the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) announced SKDS 2.0 on March 7, 2024, Shell Malaysia has leveraged its deep understanding of the local market and transporters’ challenges to provide assistance.
At a recent Hari Raya celebratory event attended by over 250 industry leaders, Joanna Lean, General Manager of Shell Fleet Solutions Malaysia, reassured attendees of Shell’s readiness and expertise in helping fleet owners of all sizes prepare for SKDS 2.0. Lean emphasized the importance of a human touch in guiding businesses through the SKDS process, highlighting Shell’s experienced specialists who are ready to provide assistance.
To facilitate the SKDS process, Shell offers two types of diesel subsidy cards. The postpaid Shell Card, supported by the Shell Fleet Hub, provides a comprehensive online card management portal and round-the-clock customer support. Alternatively, fleet owners can opt for the Shell Cash Card, tailored for SMEs, offering a simple application process and subsidized diesel prices.
Encik Zainee bin Awang Damit, owner of Pengangkutan Z&M, lauded the convenience, flexibility, and friendly service offered by Shell, particularly with the Shell Cash Card for subsidised diesel. Meanwhile, Perceptive Logistics Sdn Bhd, based in Port Klang, appreciated Shell’s support during the SKDS 2.0 pilot program, citing the peace of mind provided by Shell’s experienced account managers and customer service team.
As Malaysia transitions to SKDS 2.0 and e-invoicing, Shell aims to be the trusted partner for fleet operators, offering simpler, smarter, and more sustainable solutions tailored to businesses of all sizes. With over 1,000 strategically located retail stations nationwide, Shell provides unparalleled convenience to fleet operators across the country.
Whether your business is a SME or a large enterprise, Shell Malaysia is committed to providing the support and expertise needed to navigate the changes brought about by SKDS 2.0.
