Peugeot recently unveiled the locally-assembled Peugeot Landtrek Allure and Landtrek Special Edition (SE) at the Malaysia Autoshow 2024. Featuring an array of new accessories and an upgraded suspension for sportier handling, the Peugeot Landtrek SE is designed to enhance every journey while embodying the core brand values of Allure, Emotion, and Excellence.

The Peugeot Landtrek SE seamlessly combines Peugeot’s renowned refinement with practical versatility, making it the perfect companion for urbanites seeking outdoor adventures. Ideal for camping trips, hiking expeditions, or exploring scenic routes, the Landtrek SE offers the robustness of a pickup with the comfort and handling of an SUV, ready to tackle both city streets and challenging terrains.

Building on the dynamic design of the Peugeot Landtrek, the SE variant introduces several standout features. Key enhancements include new Tailgate Dampers, Black Landtrek Decal on the bed sides, and aggressive Black Wheel Arches. The sleek side profile is further accentuated with stylish Black Peugeot Tag Bezels, Door Visors, and a Tubular Black Side Step for easier entry and exit.

At the front, a chrome-framed grille is flanked by vertical Lion-claw LED daytime running lights. The full-LED headlamp clusters, paired with a distinctive front bumper featuring fog lamp inserts and a skid plate, complete the assertive look of the Peugeot Landtrek.

The highlight of the Peugeot Landtrek SE is its spacious storage bed, measuring 1,630mm in length and 1,600mm in width, capable of holding up to two Euro-size pallets or a one-tonne payload. The SE variant is available in Rockstone Grey and Ceramic White, with 18-inch diamond-cut alloys wrapped in all-terrain tires, ready for off-road adventures right off the production line.

Powered by a 1.9-liter Turbo Diesel engine producing 150 hp at 4,000 rpm and 350 Nm of torque between 1,800-2,800 rpm, the Peugeot Landtrek SE ensures a powerful yet smooth driving experience. The 6-speed PUNCH automatic transmission facilitates effortless transitions, delivering a towing capacity of up to 3 tonnes.

The upgraded suspension and dampers provide exceptional ride and handling across various terrains. With the Eaton rear differential lock engaged in 4WD mode, the Landtrek SE can conquer any obstacle. Its impressive approach angle of 29°, departure angle of 27°, and break-over angle of 25° with 235-millimeter ground clearance make navigating uneven terrains a breeze.

The Peugeot Landtrek SE boasts a slope capacity rated at 42° and a 90% ascent grade capability in 4X4 mode. A versatile drive mode rotary knob allows drivers to switch between 2-Wheel Drive Rear (2H), 4-Wheel Drive (4H), and Four-Wheel Drive LOW (4L) for tackling steep inclines and descents.

Inside, the Peugeot Landtrek SE features a sleek dashboard with advanced connectivity options, including a 10-inch infotainment system, three USB ports, and Bluetooth technology with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. A 360° camera with 3D vision ensures optimal manoeuvrability, whether in the city or off-road.

The Peugeot Landtrek SE is equipped with innovative Tire Precision Cameras that aid low-speed manoeuvring by detecting obstacles like curbs and potholes. Both driver and front passenger enjoy powered leather seats, and the rear seats accommodate up to three adults comfortably, with ample storage space throughout the cabin.

The Peugeot Landtrek will come with comprehensive safety features that features 6 Airbags: Front Driver & Passenger, Side, and Curtain, ISOFIX Points, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Anti-Skid Regulation (ASR), Electronic Brake-Force Distribution (EBD), Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Trailer Swing Control, Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent Control, Lane Departure Warning System, and 360° Camera with 3D vision and parking assistance.
