Evo Cartech Sdn. Bhd., the newly appointed dealer of GAC vehicles in Cyberjaya, officially opened its doors today with a 4,434-square-foot showroom in the heart of the city. As part of the GAC Motor dealership network in Malaysia, this new showroom showcases the latest GAC Motor automotive products, starting with the compact SUV GAC GS3 Emzoom, now available for public viewing and test drives.
The GAC GS3 EMZOOM SUV, distributed in Malaysia by WTC Automotif (M) Sdn. Bhd., is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 177PS and 270Nm of torque. It features bold styling and advanced technology, including wireless Apple CarPlay™ and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) safety features.
Ng Tian Poh, director of Evolution Autotech Sdn. Bhd., the parent company of Evo Cartech, spoke at the showroom opening, highlighting the company’s journey. “We are the new kid on the block in the automotive industry, and we are grateful and honored to have the support of distributors like WTC Automotif as we begin our automotive venture this year,” said Ng.
Evo Cartech operates under Evolution Autotech Sdn. Bhd., which also owns Evo Mobility, a Nissan vehicle dealership recently opened in Autoville Cyberjaya, located in the southern part of the smart city.
Ng explained the strategic choice of Cyberjaya for their automotive dealerships. “Built as an IT hub for Malaysia in 1997, this 7,000-acre city is just 20 minutes away from Kuala Lumpur. It has grown into a global technology hub, housing over 140,000 people, and is expected to grow to 350,000 by 2039.”
