WTC Automotif (M) Sdn Bhd (WTCA) has finally unveiled the prices for the 2024 GAC GS3 EMZOOM in the Malaysian market. Available in two different variants, the GS3 will be priced at RM118,900.00 for the Exclusive variant and RM128,900.00 for the Premium R variant. While GAC has teased that the GS3 will be assembled in Malaysia, at present, the SUV will be fully imported from China.
Powered by a 1.5L turbocharged engine, it aims to produce 177PS at 5,500rpm and peak torque of 270 Nm from 1,400rpm to 4,500rpm. This engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, with power sent to the front wheels. According to GAC, it can achieve a 0-100 km/h sprint in 8.0 seconds. GAC also claims that this powertrain can achieve an average fuel consumption of 5.9L/100km based on NEDC ratings. Additionally, the GS3 comes with Remote Engine Start, allowing you to start the vehicle using the car key. 
As for the exterior, the GS3 will come equipped with the Mecha Wing Grille, Laser Eye Split LED headlights, and electric hidden door handles. At the rear, there are Light Dart tail lights and a sporty Rear Spoiler. To complete the exterior look, the GS3 is equipped with a set of 18-inch alloy wheels. Opting for the Premium R variant will add the R Style Sport Package and R-Style Sport Exhaust to give the SUV a sportier vibe. 
Inside, the GS3 features a blue and black two-tone interior trim with leatherette seats. The leather-wrapped steering wheel and crystal electronic gear shifter enhance the vehicle’s premium feel. The dashboard hosts a 10.25-inch infotainment screen that comes with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android phone mirroring, and a surround-view camera. Exclusive to the GS3 Premium R variant are automatic climate control, six-way power adjustment for the driver’s seat, multi-color ambient lighting, a wireless smartphone charger, hands-free power tailgate, Fusion Automatic Parking Assist, and a panoramic sunroof. The GS3 offers a 341-liter trunk, expandable to 1,271 liters of maximum cargo volume with the rear seats folded down. 
In terms of safety, the GS3 comes equipped with front and side airbags, front and rear disc brakes, hill hold control, electronic stability program (ESP), and blind spot vision as standard. The comprehensive ADAS suite includes cruise control (ACC), Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Front Collision Warning (FCW), Traffic Sign Recognition System (TSR), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), and Intelligent Speed Limit Control (ISLC). High Beam Assist (HMA) and Fusion Automatic Parking Assist are available in the GS3 EMZOOM Premium R.
The GS3 will be available in four different colors, including Salt Lake Blue, Ivory White, Graphene Grey, and Super Star Silver. For the first 2000 customers who register their GS3, they will enjoy three free services, a 7-Year/180,000km Engine & Powertrain Warranty, and a GAC Smart Watch Key. As standard, the GS3 will come with a 5-year/150,000km warranty.
