Recently, it revealed securing RM200 million in financing from CIMB Bank Berhad (CIMB) to bolster its efforts in promoting electric vehicles (EVs) and the distribution of smart #1 premium EVs in Malaysia.
As the exclusive authorized importer and distributor of smart vehicles in Malaysia and Thailand, PRO-NET is leading the charge in introducing the smart #1, the inaugural model under its portfolio. Built on Geely’s Sustainable Electric Architecture (SEA) and styled by Mercedes-Benz, the smart #1 boasts cutting-edge technology and design. PRO-NET ensures a seamless experience for customers through its extensive ecosystem, comprising 13 dealer locations, aftersales services, and the user-friendly ‘Hello smart’ app, granting access to over 70% of the public charging network.
Beyond serving the market, PRO-NET is integral to fulfilling PROTON’s commitment to the electric vehicle agenda. It is poised to play a pivotal role in propelling the transition towards New Energy Vehicles (NEV) production and the Automotive High Tech Valley (AHTV) development in Tanjong Malim.
