Proton is excited to announce the grand opening of its Exclusive Proton Accessories Tint Centre, situated within its cutting-edge manufacturing facility in Tanjung Malim. This new establishment marks a significant expansion of Proton’s in-house tinting capabilities, with the capacity to accommodate tint fittings for up to 5,000 vehicles monthly.
Security tinting has been introduced as a standard accessory for Flagship and Premium variants of the Proton X90 since its launch on May 7, 2023. Following suit, the Proton S70, launched in November of last year, included security tinting as a standard feature for both the Flagship and Flagship X variants. Proton plans to extend this option to other models in its lineup in the near future, aiming to enhance the value offered to its customers.
There are numerous inherent benefits to having tints installed by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) rather than post-delivery installations. These advantages encompass precise fitting and finishing utilizing pre-cut dies, rigorous quality assurance protocols, adherence to JPJ regulations, and the eradication of common secondary defects associated with aftermarket installations. Additionally, customers will benefit from a 5-year unlimited mileage warranty on all tinting services, underscoring Proton’s dedication to customer satisfaction and the longevity of its products.
