Porsche Malaysia, in collaboration with Women Photographers Malaysia (WPM), recently orchestrated a remarkable initiative titled “Greatness through HER Lens,” demonstrating their commitment to inclusivity and empowerment. This joint effort, spearheaded by Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP), not only celebrated the spirit of inclusivity in photography but also encouraged dialogue and progression within traditionally male-dominated industries, such as automotive photography.

Aligned with the celebration of International Women’s Day, the initiative provided a platform for female photographers to showcase their exceptional talents while challenging the norms of the industry. The event featured an experiential journey with the new Cayenne, offering scenic pitstops for a photography challenge that highlighted the participants’ creativity and skills.

Contrary to the misconception that performance and comfort are mutually exclusive, the female photographers experienced the dynamic handling and superior comfort of the Cayenne’s upgraded chassis system. As they embarked on their adventure, the convoy departed from Porsche Centre Ara Damansara, witnessing a gradual transformation from cityscape to lush greenery, thanks to the Cayenne’s adaptive air suspension technology.

Throughout the journey, the Cayenne showcased its remarkable capabilities, navigating through rolling hills and verdant forests with poise and precision. The safety and assistance systems ensured a smooth driving experience, allowing the participants to focus on capturing breathtaking moments with their lenses.

At designated locations, the photographers unleashed their creativity, capturing the essence of the Cayenne against various backdrops. With six different categories to explore, each participant showcased their versatility and expertise, resulting in captivating photographs that truly reflected their unique perspectives.

The immersive experience of driving to and from Janda Baik provided the participants with an opportunity to reconnect with nature, explore new surroundings, and discover professional opportunities. The camaraderie among the participants fostered a supportive community, encouraging them to push beyond their comfort zones and challenge stereotypes together.
