The recent launch event, held in Mexico on February 20th, marked a significant milestone for JAECOO. Following the preview event, JAECOO conducted rigorous off-road testing at Malaysia’s renowned “M4TREC” track to assess the J7’s capabilities. From roller ramps to ridge crossings, the J7 conquered every challenge with ease, thanks to its All Road Drive Intelligent System (ARDIS). This advanced system endows the J7 with unparalleled adaptability, allowing it to tackle diverse terrains with confidence.
At the heart of the J7 lies the ARDIS, which redefines the off-road experience with its array of driving modes tailored to various conditions. Whether traversing sand, snow, or mud, the J7 delivers optimal performance with lightning-fast response times, courtesy of the BOSCH Intelligent Power Brake control system. With a maximum rear axle wheel-end torque of 3000N•m, the J7 excels in both extrication and driving comfort, setting new standards in its class.
Underneath its rugged exterior, the J7 boasts a powerful 1.6TGDI engine and a 7DCT wet dual clutch transmission, delivering a maximum power output of 145kW and a peak torque of 290 N•m. With acceleration from 0 to 30 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, the J7 outpaces luxury brands’ offerings, ensuring superior performance on and off the road.
