PHS Automotive Malaysia Unveils Two New Electric SUVs in the Audi e-tron Range

PHS Automotive Malaysia (PHSAM) has expanded its electric vehicle lineup with the introduction of two new full electric SUVs in the Audi e-tron series. The latest additions, the SQ8 e-tron and SQ8 Sportback e-tron, are priced at RM519,990.00 and RM529,990.00, respectively.

The SQ8 showcases a distinctive design with widened wheel arches, an aerodynamic diffuser, and a Singleframe grille. Matrix LED headlights, red brake calipers, carbon fiber exterior mirror covers, black roof rails, and a black appearance plus package contribute to its sleek appearance. The S model boasts larger 22-inch alloy wheels finished in Titanium Gray, emphasizing its sporty profile.

Equipped with three electric motors (one in the front and two in the rear), the SQ8 e-tron delivers a total output of 503 PS and 973 Nm of torque. The 114 kWh battery pack powers these motors, providing a WLTP range of up to 471km for the SQ8 Sportback and 458km for the SQ8. The SUV accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds, reaching a top speed of 210km/h. The vehicle supports rapid charging, allowing a 31-minute charge from 10% to 80% at DC charging points.

Inside the SQ8, features include Valcona leather front sports seats, carbon and aluminum trims, Ambient Lighting Package plus, and a 4-zone climate control system. The Audi Virtual Cockpit, Head-Up Display, and MMI touch response displays with Glossy Black buttons enhance the driving experience. Smartphone integration, Bang & Olufsen Premium Sound System, and generous storage space add to the SUV’s appeal.

Safety features include adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, swerve assist, turn assist, and front and rear cross traffic assist. The SQ8 also comes with a Park Assist package for ease of parking. Various exterior color options, coupled with the Audi Assurance Package (AAP) offering extended warranty, free scheduled maintenance, and roadside assistance, make the SQ8 e-tron a compelling choice in the electric SUV market.
