The Malaysia Autoshow 2024 (MAS 2024) is set to return from May 22nd to 26th, captivating audiences at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) and extending its reach to the adjacent IOI City Mall. The soft launch of this seventh edition was inaugurated today by the distinguished Minister of Investment, Trade, and Industry, YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz.

Organized by the Malaysia Automotive, Robotics, and IoT Institute (MARii), MAS 2024 remains committed to its tradition of unveiling the latest vehicles in the market, spanning both Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and Electric Vehicles (EV). The exhibition space expands impressively from 30,000 to 40,000 square meters, featuring an array of automotive brands.

Addressing the audience at the MAS 2024 Soft Launch, YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz emphasized the National Automotive Policy (NAP2020), guiding the local automotive industry toward future readiness. This includes the development of Next Generation Vehicles (NxGV), particularly energy-efficient and environmentally friendly EVs, aligning with the New Industrial Master Plan (NIMP) 2030 and the National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR).

The event will utilize four halls (Hall A, A1, A2, and B) to showcase the latest vehicles, including Energy Efficient Models, while Halls C and D will spotlight the diversity of 2-wheeler lifestyle. An exciting addition this year is the expansion to IOI City Mall, Putrajaya, offering more exhibition space and improved traffic flow.

Azrul Reza Aziz, Chief Executive Officer of MARii, expressed that Malaysia Autoshow 2024 aims to be a milestone event, building on past achievements. The exhibition space will witness a significant expansion, fostering innovation and excitement.

With the previous MAS edition garnering potential sales of RM 1 billion and attracting nearly 200,000 visitors, Azrul Reza Aziz outlined plans for Malaysia Autoshow 2024. These include three test drive routes spanning 18 kilometers, utilizing MAEPS outdoor areas for a comprehensive car buying experience, and featuring family-friendly activities at the Laman Tiba.

The event is poised to attract 250,000 visitors, promising not just automotive marvels but a holistic family experience. MARii CEO, Azrul Reza Aziz, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support from exhibitors and visitors, reporting a substantial booking of exhibition space.
