The grand opening was officiated by Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar, YAB Dato’ Seri Haji Aminuddin bin Harun.

Careplus Mall is poised to be a comprehensive destination offering a spectrum of services. Lim Kwee Shyan, CEO of Careplus, expressed the company’s commitment to exploring opportunities in the green tech and renewable energy sectors. The Careplus Mall currently hosts a Sales, Service, Spare Parts, and Body Repairs (4S) center for NETA electric vehicles, along with solar equipment for various applications.

Among the notable features, GENTARI, a subsidiary, is set to install six fast-charging stations with capacities ranging from 180 to 250 kW. The stations are expected to be operational by the second quarter of 2024, reinforcing Careplus’ dedication to fostering sustainable mobility solutions.

In a strategic partnership, Careplus has joined forces with GoAuto Group to delve into the electric vehicle industry. The collaboration involves the importation and distribution of NETA electric cars, coupled with plans to establish a manufacturing and assembly plant in Kawasan Perindustrian Chembong, Rembau, Negeri Sembilan. The multi-phase project, with an estimated total gross development value of RM600 million, signifies a substantial commitment to the growth of the electric vehicle sector.

Go Auto Group Chairman, Dato’ SM Azli SM Nasimuddin Kamal, highlighted that the assembly plant will not be exclusive to NETA vehicles but will also welcome other electric vehicle brands intending to localize assembly operations.

The launch event witnessed the presence of dignitaries, including the Menteri Besar’s wife, YABhg. Datin Seri Wan Hasni Wan Yusof, and key representatives from various government bodies. During the ceremony, Lim presented a symbolic NETA V replica key to BAKRIYAH, symbolizing Careplus’ commitment to community engagement.
