Dinamikjaya Motors Sdn Bhd will be local assembling the previously fully imported 11-seater Kia Carnival. The assembly will take place at the Inokom Assembly plant in Kulim, Kedah. This move toward local assembly comes with a price tag of RM 213,888.00, which represents a marginal increase of approximately RM 15,000 when compared to the fully imported variant.
In terms of notable alterations, the locally assembled 11-seater Carnival will now feature a standard Black and Grey leatherette interior finish, marking a departure from the Brown and Beige interior found in the fully imported model. Aside from this, the locally assembled version aligns closely with its imported counterpart. It will boast front styling, LED daytime running lights (DRLs), Smart Power Sliding doors, Smart Power Lift gate, and a Smart key with one-button open/close functionality for the rear sliding door and lift gate.
Standard features within the vehicle encompass a 12.3-inch High-resolution LCD Touchscreen Infotainment system, equipped with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, multi-Bluetooth connectivity, and seven USB ports.
In the realm of safety, the 11-seater Carnival offers an array of both standard and advanced safety features, including 7 SRS Airbags, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control System (TCS), Multi-Collision Brake Control (MCB), ISOFIX Child Restraint Anchor Points with Top Tethers, as well as Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC). The 11-seater Carnival will be available in four distinct colors: Astra Blue, Snow White Pearl, Meteor Gray, and Jet Black.
Additionally, customers who book the CKD 11-seater Carnival between November 1st and December 31st, 2023, will enjoy an introductory selling price of RM198,500.00, inclusive of accessories. The Carnival comes with a 5-Year Manufacturer Warranty, covering up to five years or a mileage limit of 100,000km, whichever comes first.
