Mercedes Benz Malaysia Made The Updated Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 S Available In Malaysia.

After the successful debut of the updated A-class in Malaysia, Mercedes Benz Malaysia has now introduced the Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 S 4MATIC+ Coupé to the Malaysian market. This high-performance vehicle comes with a price tag of RM 527,888. Similar to the A45 S, the CLA 45 S also offers a Street Style Edition variant, priced at RM 557,888.

The refreshed CLA boasts several notable enhancements, including an AMG-specific radiator grille featuring vertical slats, a redesigned front apron, a circular badge adorned with the AMG emblem, and, of course, updated Multibeam LED headlights. Customers can now choose from two new paint colors: hyper blue and spectral blue. For those seeking a more unique appearance, the CLA is also available in MANUFAKTUR Mountain Grey MAGNO and MANUFAKTUR Patagonia Red Metallic. As standard, the CLA comes equipped with 19-inch AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels, featuring a matte black finish with red-painted brake calipers. However, buyers have the option to select from 19-inch AMG cross-spoke forged wheels or 19-inch AMG 5-twin-spoke light alloy wheels.

To give the CLA 45 S a sportier and edgier appearance, it is equipped with the AMG Night Package, which includes a high-gloss black finish on specific exterior elements and black chrome-plated tailpipes. For those desiring an even more stealthy appearance, there is the optional AMG Night Package 2, featuring additional black chrome elements. To enhance stability during high-speed driving, the CLA offers the AMG Aerodynamics Package, with an option to upgrade to the AMG Aerodynamics Package Plus, which includes even more aerodynamic components.

Stepping inside the CLA 45 S, you’ll find AMG illuminated door sills with “AMG” lettering and replaceable covers. Much like the A-class, the car is equipped with two 10.25-inch displays serving as the instrument cluster and infotainment screen. The infotainment system is seamlessly integrated with the Burmester surround sound system featuring Dolby Atmos, all powered by the latest MBUX system. The CLA 45 S comes with the AMG Performance steering wheel, wrapped in nappa leather/MICROCUT microfiber and equipped with intuitive steering wheel buttons. Additionally, it includes a head-up display for essential information.

The CLA 45 S features AMG Performance seats with ARTICO man-made leather and MICROCUT microfiber. Those desiring a full leather interior can opt for the optional leather upholstery. Like its predecessor, the CLA 45 S retains the sporty red-colored seat belts. The dashboard is adorned with Aluminum AMG Design trim elements.

Under the hood, the CLA 45 S packs a 2.0L turbocharged inline 4 engine, generating an impressive 421hp and 500 Nm of peak torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds and reaches a top speed of 270 km/h, courtesy of the AMG Driver’s package. The 4-door coupe also includes the AMG Track Pace and AMG Real Performance sound for an exhilarating driving experience.

Safety features include Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC, Active Blind Spot Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, and Active Brake Assist, ensuring the driver’s peace of mind on the road. Parking is made effortless with the 360° camera, providing a complete view of the vehicle’s surroundings in tight spaces.

Following in the footsteps of the A 45 S, the CLA 45 S comes with the AMG Street Style Edition. This version features a striking MANUFAKTUR Mountain Grey MAGNO exterior with fluorescent orange accents. The body is embellished with side foiling bearing the AMG logo and an AMG pattern in a chequered-flag design. The car rolls on 19-inch AMG forged wheels with a cross-spoke design, finished in matte black with a high-sheen turned rim flange and red-painted brake calipers. To complete the exterior’s uniqueness, the CLA 45 S boasts an AMG fuel-filler cap.

Inside the cabin, bright orange seams and highlights adorn the seats, along with a “CLA 45 S” label embossed on them. The dashboard features Aluminum AMG trim elements with a pattern that matches the exterior foiling. The instrument panel is finished with contrasting orange stitching. Door sill trims sport “AMG” lettering, interchangeable black covers, and Edition-specific red lighting. Finally, the AMG floor mats bear “Street Style Edition” lettering and orange stitching.
