Naza Italia, the distributor of Maserati vehicles in Malaysia, is set to introduce the new Maserati Spyder MC20 Cielo to its clientele. The MC20 Cielo is the convertible variant of the MC20 coupe, delivering the exhilarating performance of a genuine super sports car while offering an immersive driving experience. The MC20 Cielo carries a price tag of RM 1,228,000.00, excluding local duties and taxes, customization options, and insurance.
Much like its coupe counterpart, the Spyder MC20 is equipped with Maserati’s potent V6 Nettuno engine. This 3.0L V6 powerplant is capable of generating an impressive 630 horsepower and a peak torque of 730 Nm. Accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h takes a mere 3.3 seconds, and the vehicle can achieve a top speed of approximately 325 km/h. 
The standout feature of the MC20 Cielo is the open-top driving experience it provides. With a retractable hardtop, Maserati assures drivers of a “sky feeling” while on the road. This hardtop can be opened or closed in just 12 seconds, and the operation can be performed at speeds of up to 50 km/h. What’s more, the hardtop roof features an Advanced Polymer-Dispersed Liquid Crystal (PDLC) technology, serving as an electrochromic window that allows light into the cabin even when the roof is closed. 
Compared to the MC20 coupe, the MC20 Cielo is only 65 kg heavier, thanks to its robust carbon fiber chassis, which maintains exceptional torsional rigidity even with the roof removed. Remarkably, Maserati retains the iconic butterfly doors, enhancing the supercar-like experience of the MC20. 
The MC20 Cielo comes equipped with an array of active safety systems, including parking sensors, a rear-view camera, and a blind spot monitor. These systems are complemented by autonomous emergency braking, traffic sign information, and a new 360° camera, enhancing safety features. 
Inside the vehicle, the infotainment system is powered by the Maserati Intelligent Assistant (MIA) Multimedia system. Customers have the option to upgrade to a 12-speaker High Premium Sonus Faber audio system, which has been fine-tuned to meet the unique acoustic and positioning requirements of the Spyder’s cabin. 
The MC20 Cielo will come with 3 years of Standard Warranty coverage with no mileage restriction plus a Free maintenance program of 3 years/ 60,000 km whichever comes first (Inclusive of *Maserati Premium Service Plus of 3 Years /60,000 km).
