Carro, the parent company of myTukar, is set to revolutionize the region’s automotive aftersales services with the introduction of Carro Care. The Carro Care is backed by a US$60 million partnership with Jardine Cycle & Carriage (JC&C) to leverage proprietary technology to enhance the vehicle ownership experience.

The Carro Care is expected to bring together the strengths of both entities. Carro will provide its cutting-edge technologies, while JC&C will contribute strong aftersales value chains and a well-established market presence. The initial focus for Carro Care will be on Singapore and Malaysia, with Malaysia being the first country to experience the transformation. Under this initiative, myTukar’s refurbishment and service centers will undergo rebranding and receive a complete integration of Carro’s advanced technological capabilities.

Leading the helm as CEO of Carro Care is SV Balasubramanian, a seasoned professional with more than three decades of experience in the automotive industry. Over the last 18 years, he played a pivotal role at Cycle & Carriage Bintang, specializing in Mercedes-Benz aftersales services.

Balasubramanian expressed his vision for Carro Care, stating, “Customers are looking for honesty, quality, and transparency in vehicle aftersales services – whether it’s for routine maintenance or urgent repairs.
