Lotus Cars Malaysia Announces Pricing Updates for Eletre Hyper-SUV and Emira Sports Car

Lotus Cars Malaysia recently adjusted the pricing of their fully-electric Eletre Hyper-SUV and premium Emira sports car, citing fluctuations in the value of the Malaysian ringgit against major foreign currencies. These pricing changes are effective immediately and are aimed at aligning the costs with current market conditions.

Following the initial price indications made during the Malaysian launch in April, the suggested retail price for the mid-range Eletre S has been increased to RM698,000, up from RM648,000, while the range-topping Eletre R is now priced at RM838,000, up from RM798,000. These prices apply to both Peninsular Malaysia and Langkawi, with the base Eletre’s pricing set to be announced at a later date, as it won’t be available until at least 2025.

Turning to the Emira range, the actual retail price for the four-cylinder Emira i4 First Edition is now RM1,095,000 in Peninsular Malaysia and RM509,000 in Langkawi, effective as of September 1, 2023, for new factory orders. Limited units are still accessible at the introductory price of RM998,800 on a first-come, first-served basis. Meanwhile, the Emira V6 First Edition is now priced at RM1,289,000 in Peninsular Malaysia, up from RM1,205,800, and RM529,000 in Langkawi, up from RM478,800. The automatic version of the Emira V6 First Edition now retails at RM1,309,000 in Peninsular Malaysia and RM539,000 in Langkawi. It’s important to note that the Emira prices listed are on-the-road figures, without insurance in Peninsular Malaysia, and without duty in duty-free Langkawi.

If you’re eager to get a closer look at these models, you can visit the Lotus Store at Level 3 of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur until September 30, 2023. On display, you’ll find the Eletre S in Solar Yellow and the Emira V6 in Magma Red. The Emira i4 shares the same exterior and interior styling as its V6 counterpart. The showroom is open from 10 am to 10 pm daily and offers a personalized experience with Lotus Experts on hand, as well as an on-site configurator for customers to tailor their vehicles to their preferences.

Starting from October 1, 2023, the Lotus Store at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur will no longer be in operation. However, Lotus enthusiasts and customers can visit the Lotus showroom in Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam. There, you can view the Eletre and Emira displays, connect with Lotus Experts, and utilize the on-site configurator. The Bukit Jelutong showroom operates from 9 am to 5 pm on weekdays and from 9 am to 4 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
