In celebration of its 60th anniversary, Lamborghini has revealed the highly anticipated V12 HPEV (High-Performance Electrified Vehicle) known as the Lamborghini Revuelto. This remarkable vehicle seamlessly blends Lamborghini’s renowned V12 tradition and lightweight engineering with contemporary electrification and digitalization. The Lamborghini Revuelto comes with a base price of RM 2.5 million, excluding taxes, and reaches RM 6.5 million with tax included.
At the core of this extraordinary car lies a potent V12 engine paired with three electric motors. This powertrain boasts a peak power output of 1,015 PS and a peak torque of 1,062 Nm. Coupled with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, the Revuelto can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 2.5 seconds and reach 200 km/h in just 7 seconds. With a top speed of 350 km/h, the Revuelto offers impressive performance.
To support the three electric motors, the Revuelto is equipped with a compact 3.8 kWh Li-ion battery. Owners can recharge this battery in only 30 minutes using 7 kW of domestic alternating current. Additionally, the car utilizes regenerative braking and the V12 engine for a rapid 6-minute charge.
The Lamborghini Revuelto represents the future of Lamborghini design while remaining faithful to the brand’s DNA. Drawing inspiration from iconic V12 Lamborghini models of the past, the Revuelto incorporates elements like the perfect proportions of the 1971 Countach and the signature scissor doors seen on models like the Diablo and Murciélago.
Externally, the Revuelto features a carbon-fiber shark-nose front section that flows seamlessly to the front. Staying true to Lamborghini’s tradition, Y-shaped daytime running lights adorn the headlight cluster, a motif that extends to the rear of the vehicle. The rear of the car features large hexagonal exhaust outlets positioned just below the rear wing.
Inside the cabin, the Y-shaped design motif continues. The driver-centric dashboard offers a blend of digital and physical controls, anchored by an 8.4-inch vertical touchscreen with intuitive swipe functionality. Both the driver and passenger benefit from high-definition instrument clusters, and the redesigned steering wheel includes integrated controls.
Despite the low seating position, the Revuelto offers a spacious interior thanks to increased headroom and legroom provided by its new platform. This platform also creates additional storage space for luggage and personal items, with features like storage compartments behind the seats and passenger cup holders.
In terms of safety, the Revuelto introduces Lamborghini’s most comprehensive Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) to date. This includes Active Lane Departure Warning (ALDW), Lane Change Warning (LCW), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA).
As a modern Lamborghini, the Revuelto offers extensive customization options for customers. Exterior colors are available in a palette of 400 different choices. For the interior, customers can select visible carbon fiber for elements like the dashboard, air vents, and dashboard frame. Upholstery options encompass fine leather and an ultralight Corsa-Tex fabric, with up to 70 different color choices available.
