The International Automodified (IAM) Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia International Motor Expo (MIME) 2023 will be taking place from October 27th to 29th at the Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur. Among the spotlight vehicles, the event will feature Mercedes-Benz’s EQB 350 sports utility vehicle (SUV), along with models from Mazda, KIA, and Peugeot, presented by Bermaz Auto Berhad. A notable highlight will be a modified Tesla courtesy of Exotic Mods Sdn Bhd, an independent Tesla and European sales, spare parts, and service center. JPM Museo, one of Malaysia’s largest private collectors of hypercars, and Utama Motors, renowned for their supercar collection, will also have captivating displays.
Founder Yamin Vong of MIME emphasizes the event’s allure with a special focus on providing visitors and potential buyers the chance to test drive electric vehicles. The fusion of IAM and MIME, which commenced in 2022, has proven to be a winning formula. The inaugural three-day event held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre drew approximately 104,000 visitors, showcasing over 100 of Malaysia’s top-tier modified vehicles. The IAM-MIME 2023 tour will kick off in Singapore from October 21st to 22nd before making its pivotal stop in Kuala Lumpur from October 27th to 29th. The journey continues to Jakarta, Indonesia on December 2nd to 3rd, culminating in Bangkok, Thailand on December 9th to 10th. Furthermore, IAM is actively working towards making its debut in the United States in the summer of 2024.
