With multiple awards under its belt, the all new Hyundai Ioniq 6 now available in Malaysia. Internationally, the Ioniq 6 managed to win three prestigious global, which include 2023 World Car of the Year, 2023 World Electric Vehicle of the Year and 2023 World Car Design of the Year. These 3 awards was also won by the Ioniq 5 back in 2022.
In Malaysia, we get 2 different Ioniq 6 variants with the Ioniq 6 Max RWD and Ioniq 6 Max AWD. Both models come with the same 77.4 kW lithium-ion polymer battery, but either powering a single or dual electric motor. On the Ioniq Max RWD, it has an impressive WLTP range of 614 km but with only 168kW and 350 Nm powering the rear wheels. And for the Ioniq 6 Max AWD, it will get a lower WLTP range of 519 km as the same battery have to power 2 electric motor. This 2 electric motor has the ability to produce 239kW and 605 Nm, which allow the vehicle to accelerate from 0-100km/h in just 5.1 seconds. 
The Ioniq 6 is a testament to Retrofuturism, featuring its distinctive Parametric Pixel lighting, a signature Ioniq element found in various parts of the vehicle, including the head and tail lamps, rear spoiler-mounted third brake lamp, and even the steering wheel.
