Mercedes-Benz Malaysia recently unveiled the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE at the 2023 Malaysia Autoshow. This is the most powerful production vehicle ever made by Mercedes-AMG, and it represents the company’s effort to integrate its signature brand DNA into an electrified future.
To achieve this, the company employs technologies from Formula 1 in its E PERFORMANCE Hybrid strategy. The AMG GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE features a 4.0 litre V8 biturbo engine with a permanently excited synchronous electric motor, a high-performance battery developed by AMG, and the fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive system. The combined power output is 620 kW (843 hp), and the maximum system torque is over 1400 Nm, enabling acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and reaching 200 km/h in less than ten seconds. The car can accelerate up to a top speed of 316 km/h. 
The new model offers an extensive range of standard equipment, including an AMG RIDE CONTROL+ suspension system with continuously adjustable pressure relief valves, which adjusts the damping force for each wheel to suit the situation in just a few milliseconds. The AMG DYNAMIC SELECT drive programs allow the selection of pre-set basic configurations for driving modes, from the dynamic “Sport+” mode to the smoother “Comfort” setting, with tuning that can be adjusted independently of the drive programs via a button. 
The integrated AMG DYNAMICS driving dynamics control system influences the control strategies of the ESP® (Electronic Stability Program), all-wheel drive, and electronically controlled limited-slip rear differential, increasing agility without negatively affecting the vehicle’s stability. The car also comes with a ceramic high-performance compound brake system that is lightweight, has a long service life, and extremely high stability. 
The car’s sporty look is enhanced by the 21-inch AMG forged wheels in a 5-twin-spoke design, painted black, and with a rim flange with a high-sheen finish. The car’s exterior features elements of the AMG Night Package and the AMG Night Package II, which have selected exterior elements in high-gloss black and dark chrome, as well as black foiling above the side sills. The car also comes with the AMG Aerodynamics Package and the AMG Exterior Carbon package as standard. The panoramic roof lets plenty of light into the vehicle interior, and the car’s AMG Performance seats in Exclusive nappa leather, as well as the AMG trim elements in carbon, create an unfiltered motorsport atmosphere inside.

There are a wide range of customization options, including exclusive color options such as MANUFAKTUR kalahari gold and AMG green hell magno paint finish. The MANUFAKTUR label represents the highest degree of individuality and luxury with selected materials that are predominantly processed by hand. Other color options include MANUFAKTUR classic grey uni, MANUFAKTUR olive metallic, and MANUFAKTUR copper orange magno (matt version), as well as various leather colors. The car also comes with a two-tone leather steering wheel, deep-pile floor mats with embroidered AMG lettering, and decal sets in three color variants for the side skirts.
