Sime Darby Auto Performance, has unveiled the Sime Darby Racing Team in partnership with Nazim Azman, a promising local race driver, and Earl Bamber Motorsport (EBM). The team will debut at the 2023 Porsche Carrera Cup Asia (PCCA) held at Sepang International Circuit for rounds 1 and 2 from April 28 to 30, 2023.
Following this, the competition will move around the region before concluding in Malaysia for rounds 9 and 10 on August 25 to 27, 2023, along with round 3 of the Malaysia Championship Series. The team’s latest 992-generation 911 GT3 Cup car, adorned with iconic batik livery, will be piloted by Nazim Azman.
