Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC) is celebrating Hari Raya and its 15th anniversary by offering a free two-year service package to customers who purchase the Next-Generation Ford Ranger XL Double Cab (Automatic and Manual variants) or the Next-Generation Ranger XLT.
The campaign will run from April 1 to May 31, 2023, and is available on a first-come, first-served basis for a limited number of units. To add to the Raya festivities, SDAC-Ford partnered with digital artist Muhammad Sharul Ashlyn Ag Ashrul Affandy, also known as “Chubb-e,” to create a Raya song and video, which can be listened to on Ford Malaysia’s social platforms.
Both the Next-Generation Ranger XL Double Cab (AT and MT) and Ranger XLT models are equipped with Ford’s 2.0-liter Single-Turbo diesel engine, providing a maximum power output of 170 PS and peak torque of 405 Nm. Additionally, these models come standard with four drive modes: Normal, Eco, Tow/Haul, and Slippery, which were previously only available on the Ranger Raptor.
Both models feature a new grille design and signature C-clamp headlight treatment, as well as a 50mm track and wheelbase increase and a high level of integrated technology, including a first-in-class 10.1-inch touchscreen with Ford SYNC® 4A and a reconfigurable eight-inch color digital instrument panel.
The Next-Generation Ranger XLT is priced at RM129,888 for Peninsular Malaysia and RM135,388 for Sabah and Sarawak, while the Next-Generation Ranger XL Double Cab Manual is priced at RM108,888 for Peninsular Malaysia and RM114,888 for Sabah and Sarawak. The automatic variant is priced at RM113,888 for Peninsular Malaysia and RM119,588 for Sabah and Sarawak.
All Next-Generation Ranger customers will automatically become members of the Ford Inner Circle in Malaysia, a community of like-minded individuals who enjoy exploring new horizons, contributing to society, or going on excursions such as the Ford Ranger Getaways with friends and family.
