Porsche recently unveiled the latest generation Porsche Cayenne SUV, and it will come with updated powertrain, chassis, design and equipment to improve performance, comfort and luxury. The new Cayenne has a digital display and control system, advanced technology features, and high-definition headlights that adjust to different driving situations.

On the inside, the new Porsche Cayenne has an updated display and control system called the Porsche Driver Experience, which focuses on optimizing the driver’s operation. Frequently used functions are conveniently located on or near the steering wheel, while the automatic transmission selector is now on the dashboard. This creates space for storage compartments and a large air conditioning controller. The controls are easy to access, and a balance between digital and analogue elements has been struck.

For the new Cayenne, it now features a fully digital 12.6-inch instrument cluster with variable display options and a 12.3-inch central Porsche Communication Management display. There’s also a 10.9-inch display for the passenger that shows performance data and allows for separate access to the infotainment system controls. Additionally, native apps like Spotify and Apple Music are included to improve connectivity.

The new Cayenne has a fresh and striking look, with a redesigned front end, new headlights, and sleek tail lights. There are also more colour options and lighter sports packages available, giving buyers more customization options. The car comes with standard Matrix LED headlights, and the HD Matrix LED headlights are an optional feature that uses innovative technology to prevent blinding other drivers. The car also has an air quality system that can automatically activate air recirculation when approaching a tunnel or filter out fine dust particles and germs with an ionizer.

Porsche has improved the Cayenne’s suspension system by adding new shock absorbers and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). This improves the car’s performance in all driving situations, including slow speeds, dynamic cornering, and pitch and roll support. The car’s driving experience can be further enhanced with an adaptive air suspension with 2-chamber, 2-valve technology. This improves the car’s suspension, stabilizes it, and makes it easier to handle on and off the road compared to the standard suspension and the previous model. The new suspension also offers more precise and sharper driving modes.

In terms of powertrain, the new Cayenne will be available with 3 different engine options. The Cayenne S has a new four-litre V8 biturbo engine that replaces the old V6, giving it a maximum output of 349 KW (474 PS) and a torque of 600 Nm. This accelerates the SUV to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds with a top speed of 273 km/h. The Cayenne entry-level has an optimised three-litre V6 turbo engine generating 260 kW (353 PS) and 500 Nm. The six-cylinder engine is the basis for the Cayenne E-Hybrid, which has a new electric motor improved by 30 kW to 130 kW (176 PS) and a combined output of 346 kW (470 PS).

The Cayenne E-Hybrid also has a high-voltage battery with a capacity increased from 17.9 kWh to 25.9 kWh, allowing a purely electric range of up to 90 km. With an 11 kW on-board charger, charging time is less than two and a half hours. The Turbo GT, the top model outside the EU, is exclusively available as a coupé with a four-litre V8 biturbo engine producing 485 kW (659 PS). The Cayenne Turbo GT accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds with a top speed of 305 km/h.

As standard, the new Cayenne comes with more features such as Matrix LED Headlights, Porsche Active Suspension Management, 20-inch wheels, front and rear Park Assist with a reversing camera, and a smartphone tray that can wirelessly charge up to 15 watts.
