Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors (HSDM) recently expanded their local line up with a new B-segment SUV, the Hyundai Creta. The Creta only available in Plus variant, and it will come with a whole host of feature. The Creta measured in at 4,315 mm long, 1,790 mm wide and 1,630 mm tall, with a 2,610 mm wheelbase, making it slightly bigger than the Kona.
The Hyundai Creta boasts a Parametric Jewel face, with concealed LED daytime running lights that add an element of mystery and intimidation to its appearance. When combined with bumper-mounted LED projector headlamps at night, the effect is both striking and stylish. 
Inside the Creta, it comes with a host of technological features designed to enhance comfort, convenience, and drivability. These include a 10.25-inch TFT LCD cluster, an eight-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Voice Recognition, auto air-con with rear air-con vents, keyless entry and start, and an electronic parking brake with auto hold. 
The Creta is powered by a Smartstream G1.5 litre four-cylinder petrol engine that generates 115 PS at 6,300 rpm and 144 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm. The power is transmitted to the front wheels via a Smartstream Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT), which enables smooth, efficient and immediate progress. The vehicle also offers four selectable drive modes, including Eco, Normal, Sport, and Smart, showcasing its versatility. 
When it comes to safety, the Creta is equipped with a comprehensive suite of active safety features, including Forward and Blind Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Following Assist, Leading Vehicle Departure Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, Safe Exit Warning, and High Beam Assist. These features, combined with six airbags, contribute to the vehicle’s five-star New Car Assessment Programme for Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN NCAP) safety rating.
