BMW Malaysia has announced that it will be updating the suspension setup on several BMW models from March 2023. The selected models are the BMW 218i Gran Coupé, the BMW 330i M Sport, the BMW X3 sDrive20i M Sport, the BMW X3 xDrive30i M Sport, and the BMW X3 xDrive30e M Sport.

For the BMW 218i Gran Coupé will now feature the Standard Suspension, which offers a more comfortable ride due to its softer spring and damper setup. The BMW X3 sDrive20i M Sport will switch from the previously fitted M Sport Suspension to the Standard Suspension, offering a softer spring and damper setup for a more comfortable ride.

And for the BMW 330i M Sport will now feature the Adaptive M Suspension, which provides electronically controlled dampers with individual control for each wheel. This ensures a comfortable ride while also allowing for increased sportiness compared to the previous M Sport Suspension. Additionally, the Adaptive M Suspension adapts the drive according to the selected drive mode, which can be toggled via the Driving Dynamics control switch.

Finally, the BMW X3 xDrive30i M Sport, previously fitted with the M Sport Suspension, and the BMW X3 xDrive30e M Sport, previously fitted with the Standard Suspension, will now be updated with the Adaptive Suspension. This will reduce disruptive vehicle movements to a minimum with shock absorbers that automatically adapt to road conditions.
