Dinamikjaya Motors recently displayed the 4th generation Kia Sorento, which is expected to reach hit the market sometime this year. According to Dinamikjaya, the Kia Sorento will be available in 3 different variants, and prices is estimated to fall in between RM220,000 and RM255,000.
The 4th generation Kia Sorento now looks more refine, elegant, and sporty compare to its predecessor. The new Sorento come with Kia’s hallmark ‘tiger nose’ grille, with integrated headlights on each side. The headlights also have ‘tiger eyeline’ LED daytime running light, that make the SUV look meaner. 
For the interior, it’s fitted with premium-quality materials and cutting-edge infotainment while retaining the spaciousness and versatility just like the past Sorento. The interior design come with metallic trims, leather upholstery and embossed wood-effect surfaces. With its interior subtly integrating other technologies to enhance connectivity, driver assistance and infotainment. 
The interior feature a 12.3” instrument cluster and a 10.25” infotainment system. The new Sorento also come with a wireless smartphone charger, Bose premium sound system, and Android Auto and Apple Carplay. The new Kia Sorento will be available in 2 different seat configuration. The base Kia Sorento will come with 7 seat (2-3-2) configuration paired with the 2.5L Smartstream engine and power is only sent to the front wheels. 
As for the 6-seater (2-2-2) variant, it will be powered by either the 2.5L petrol engine or the 2.2L turbo diesel engine. Both powertrain will send their power to all 4 wheels making the vehicle an AWD vehicle. The 2.5L petrol engine produces 177 hp and 232 Nm of torque and paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. And as for the 2.2L turbo diesel, it is the same engine found in the Kia Carnival. This engine has the ability to produce 199hp and 440Nm of torque, and is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
