Porsche Macan has been one of the best-selling model in Porsche’s line-up. The Macan has manage to bring in many new customers into the brand. For the 2022 model, Porsche will be bringing a host of significant enhancements and updates making it more capable than ever. Let’s take a closer look and see what has been updated for the 2022 model.
- Exterior
The 2022 Macan will come with a new front end with integrated cooling air intakes and front trim in body color. For the rear, a larger black diffuser takes the center stage at the rear. The side blades now feature a 3D textured structure element. LED headlights and standard Sport Design exterior mirrors complete the updated appearance. For the wheel design, there will be 7 new designs ranging between 19 to 21 inches.
To differentiate the top of the range model, the Macan GTS will come with 21-inch RS Spyder Design wheels in satin black, Sport Design side skirts, clear LED taillights and a Sport Exhaust system with black tailpipes. 
- Performance
2.0L 4-cylinder engine, now comes with 261 bhp and 400Nm of torque, which is an increase of 13 bhp and 30 Nm compared to the current 2.0L. This translates to 5.8 seconds to hit 100 km/h, which is 0.3 seconds faster than before, and hitting a top speed of 230 km/h.
2.9L twin turbo V6 engine, found on the Macan S is able to generate 375 bhp and 520Nm of torque. This engine was previously found on the 2021 Macan GTS. This engine can bring the Macan S to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds, while hitting a top speed of 256 km/h. To help the Macan S handle, it features the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as standard.
At the top end, the Macan GTS comes with a more powerful 2.9L twin-turbo V6 has the ability to produce 434 bhp and 550 Nm of torque, which was previously used in the Macan Turbo. With the Sport Chrono Package, it hits the 100 km/h mark in 4.1 seconds, and top out at 270km/h, which is 3 km/h faster than the 2021 Macan Turbo. Additionally, the Macan GTS gets red calipers and adaptive air suspension that is lower by 10 mm for the ride height. The adaptive suspension is also 15% stiffer than before and pair with updated bump stops and strut mounts. 
- Interior
A redesigned centre console with haptic touch screen to give it a clean and simple look that in turns provided larger storage compartment. The gear lever is now smaller than before, and a new GT Sport steering wheel found their way into the Macan. There are also a new option for the interior package, where customers could choose the colour of the stitches, which is available in Papaya, Gentian Blue and Chalk. 
- Safety
The 2022 Macan models come standard with Lane Departure Warning as well as front and rear Park Assist with a rear-view camera. Beyond this, it can be optioned with a number of driver assistance systems. These include self-steering Park Assist, adaptive cruise control, Lane Keep Assist and the blind spot monitoring Lane Change Assist function.
Options For The Macan GTS
For the Macan GTS, there are a few options buyers can add on to their cars. The package includes the Sport Chrono Package, Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus, 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats, Sport Design mirrors with caps painted in high-gloss black, front and rear fascia as well as side skirts in satin black and 21-inch GT Design wheels shod with special high-performance tires. The interior of the GTS equipped with Sport Package is characterized by carbon fiber elements, deviated stitching and greater number of Race-Tex interior features.
