PHS Automotive Malaysia (PHSAM) unveiled to the media that they will be launching their EV range sometime in 2023, and recently, they officially showcase the new e-tron range. The new e-tron range has a few different models that includes SUVs, Sportbacks, and 4-door coupe.
Starting with the SUVs and Sportback, it is the Q8 e-tron range with highly efficient aerodynamic form, optimized drivetrain, stronger charging performance, and higher battery capacity. The Q8 e-tron is available in 2 body styles and 2 powertrain option. This means that the Q8 e-tron comes with 4 different model.
In terms of the powertrain, the Q8 e-tron models start with the Advanced 50 variant and the S-line 55 variants. The Q8 e-tron Advanced 50 Quattro comes with a dual motor powertrain that produces 340PS and 664Nm of torque. This model can accelerate to 100km/h from standstill in 6.0 seconds. And as for the Q8 e-tron S-line 55 Quattro, the 2 motors produces even more power at 408PS and the same 664Nm of torque. This can push this SUV to 100km/h from standstill in a quicker 5.6 seconds.
This 2 models also have different battery size, where the e-tron 50 has a 95 kWh battery and the e-tron 55 has an even bigger battery at 114 kWh. The e-tron 50 can handle up to 150kW of power when charging through a DC fast charger, while the e-tron 55 could handle even higher charging speed of 170kW. With the larger battery, the e-tron 55 have a maximum range of 582km.
Other highlights on the e-tron 55 is that it will come with Digital Matrix LED headlights, where it uses the DMD (digital micromirror dvice) technology to illuminate the road in high resolution. This headlights also features the Lane Light and Orientation Light to help enhanced safety when driving at night. On top of that, the e-tron 55 also get the Virtual Exterior Mirror. The Virtual Exterior Mirror replaces the traditional side mirrors with cameras, and this allow Audi to make the car narrower, and also have lower drag created by the wing mirrors. For those who wanted a more elegant and stylish of the Q8 e-tron, this model comes in the Sportback form and it provided even better aerodynamic efficiency. 
For the 4 door coupe, the e-tron GT coupé comes with an emotive design and revolutionary technology, reinterprets the concept of a gran turismo. The e-tron GT lineup consists of the iconic RS e-tron GT, e-tron GT quattro with Dynamic Package, and e-tron GT quattro, all delivering dynamic driving performance through the revolutionary electric quattro all-wheel drive technology.
To match the handsome styling of the e-tron GT, the car also comes with 2 electric motor that produces 530 PS and 640 Nm torque in boost mode, which allows the car to accelerate from 0-100km/h in 4.1 seconds and to a top speed of 245 km/h. For the more powerful RS e-tron GT, it produces 646PS and 820Nm of torque in boost mode. This allow the RS e-tron GT to do the century sprint in 3.3 seconds, and to a top speed of 250 km/h.
For its battery pack, the e-tron GT uses an 84 kWh battery that has a theoretical range of 488km. The battery is built on the 800V architecture, which allow the car to be charged up through the fastest speed DC chargers available in Malaysia. At the fastest speed, the e-tron GT could be charged from 5% to 80% in less than 22.5 minutes.
To add a sense of drama, Audi also emphasize in creating an emotive sound backdrop for the e-tron GT. This uses high quality digital sounds generated by speakers inside and outside the car. This sound can be selected by the driver through the Audi drive select system, and they can choose from almost inaudible in efficiency profile to a powerful, sporty, and voluminous expression of a GT.

When you purchase a brand new e-tron models, owners will get a mobile e-tron Charging System Compact allowing owners to charge their EVs through the 3-pin plug. Additionally, Audi Malaysia will give new owners a complimentary RM1,000 JomCharge credits for them to charge their vehicle with the JomCharge network.
Alongside the launch of the e-tron models, PHSAM also partnered up with MOON POWER, a European energy solutions provider, to support charging solutions for e-tron owners in Malaysia. MOON POWER wallbox chargers in 11 kW and 22 kW variants will be available for purchase from September 2023.
In preparation for the launch, Audi Centres in Glenmarie, Setia Alam, and Juru have been fitted with MOON POWER chargers, offering exclusive charging services for Audi e-tron owners. The Audi e-tron models come with a 2-year unlimited mileage warranty, 8-year or 160,000 km battery warranty, and 5 years of complimentary roadside assistance. Customers can opt for the Audi Assurance Package (AAP), which provides an additional 3 years of warranty and 3 years of maintenance at 15,000 km service intervals.
