Last year, Naza Italia showcased the Maserati Grecale Trofeo SUV, but in a left hand drive guise. In 2023, Naza Italia finally unveiled the Maserati Grecale GT for Malaysian market. With the mild hybrid powertrain, the Grecale GT strikes a good balance between versatility, elegance, performance, and innovation.

The Grecale GT is powered by a 2.0L 4-cylinder mild hybrid engine, and it has the ability to produce 300 hp and 450Nm. The Grecale GT can hit 0-100km/h mark in 5.6 seconds, and to a top speed of 240km/h. This engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission with power sending to all 4 wheels.

On the outside, the Grecale GT can be fitted with19” or 20” alloy wheels, body-colour bumpers and side skirts and front grille insert in brushed chrome and dual chrome-plated exhausts. The Grecale GT comes with a generous 2,901mm wheelbase, a height of 1,670 mm, a width of 2,163 mm (including wing mirrors), with a rear wheel track of 1,948 mm. This boasts a huge boot space of 535L with a flat loading platform, a cargo box under the platform and rear seats that can be folded down by pressing a button in the boot.

Inside the Grecale, it comes with a Saffiano leatherwork-inspired leather dashboard insert, combined with burnished inserts on the central console and door panel. The interior will get premium leather on the seats, and the steering is also wrapped in leather with aluminium shift paddles.

The interior also get a digital clock with a traditional Maserati clockface that can turn into an in-car concierge, courtesy of voice control. There are also the 12.3 inch infotainment screen, another 8.8” display for the extra controls and a third for the passengers in the rear seats. Customers could also opt for the heads up display to help them keep their eyes on the road.

On the infotainment screen, it’s powered by the Maserati Intelligent Assistant (MIA) Multimedia system. The sound is pushed out through the Sonus Faber 3D sound system with up to 21 speakers around the cabin. Maserati also allow customer to opt for the Maserati Vehicle Dynamic Control Module (VDCM) system and the 360° control if they want to.

The Grecale GT is available in Blu Intenso (metallic blue), Bianco Astro (metallic grey) and Bianco (white solid) at the Malaysia launch. The Grecale GT price will start from RM598,000.00 inclusive of local duties and taxes, before customisation options, road tax and insurance.  The price includes 3 years Standard Warranty coverage with no mileage restriction.
