The first-ever Tokyo Auto Salon Kuala Lumpur will be held from June 9 to 11 at the Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre (MITEC). The event will showcase an impressive fleet of custom cars from Japan and feature top exhibitors and tuners like Top Secret, Spoon, HKS, and Greddy.
The show, which is modeled after the renowned Japanese custom and performance car show, will cover a total floor space of 130,000 sq ft and is expected to attract around 150,000 visitors from Malaysia and the ASEAN region. MUSE Group Asia and Element X Strategies, along with San Ei Corporation, are jointly organizing the event, and over 50% of the floor space has already been booked by exhibitors.
The Tokyo Auto Salon, which has been organized for 40 years, has grown to become one of the world’s top international shows for car enthusiasts and exhibitors. It started as a celebration of innovative and creative displays of Japanese-made cars but has since expanded to include all types of vehicles. The show has also become a prestigious platform for vehicle manufacturers and aftermarket accessories and performance parts companies to showcase their latest and most innovative offerings. On average, the show attracts around 1,000 vehicles, over 500 exhibitors, and more than 300,000 Japanese and international visitors annually.
Tokyo Auto Salon Kuala Lumpur presents an exciting opportunity for automotive players in Malaysia and ASEAN to showcase their latest products and services, with booths of different sizes available for rent. Apart from showcasing the latest automotive products, the event will also feature a stunning lineup of race queens from Japan, performances, and workshops.
