Toyota has been busy moving vehicles in the month of July 2022, where UMW Toyota Motor has managed to register a total of 6,624units of Toyota, and 13 units of Lexus. As for the overall sales, Toyota manage to sell up to 52,548 units for the year to date for the year 2022.
One of the best-selling model for Toyota is the Hilux, where Toyota sold a total of 1,788 units. This put the Hilux back at the best-selling pick-up truck in Malaysia since 2005.

The tree planting programme saw 80 participants’ plant 1,500 mangrove saplings which grow to act as huge carbon sinks sequestering two to four times more carbon than mature rainforests. Meanwhile, the Hike and Clean activity which is part of the Toyota Environmental Challenge 2050 aims to establish a future society that lives in harmony with nature, exemplifying how UMWT walks the talk when it comes to environmental preservation.
