Perodua finally unveiled their all new people mover, the new generation Perodua Alza. With the order books being open before the 30th June 2022, Perodua managed to collect up to 30,000 bookings for the all new Perodua Alza. Making this the highest booking ever for a Perodua Alza.

The all new Alza will be available in 3 different variants, namely X, H, and AV. The official prices are RM62,500 for the X variant, RM 68,000 for the H variant, and the AV variant will be priced at RM 75,500. The all new Alza will be built on the Daihatsu New Global Architecture (DNGA) to improve the handling capabilities of the Alza.

Exterior wise, the all new Alza gets a whole new look and pair with chrome and glossy front grille, and LED headlights with integrated sequential side indicators. To assist the driver in dark areas, the all new Alza comes with Auto High Beam for the X variant, and Adaptive Driving Beam for the AV and H variants. The Alza also gets LED fog lights to provide added illumination in dark areas.

From the side, the Alza will feature the auto folding side mirror with turn signals and the new 16” rims on all sides. For the 1st time for Perodua, this new Alza will now come with rear disc brakes for better braking performance. At the rear, the taillights for the Alza is also the LED back door taillamps

For the highlight on the interior, the all new Alza will come with low ride height, rear AC, 2 tone semi leather seats, high center console with soft pad armrest, and the front and 2nd row center armrest. In terms of space, the all new Alza will come with a boot space of 137L with all seats up, and 498L of boot space with 3rd row folded down.

Technology wise, the Alza will come with a new 9” head unit with 360⁰ Panoramic View, Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Brake Hold, and a new Drive Mode: Normal, Eco and Power. In front of the driver, there is a 7” TFT Multi Info Instrument Cluster that looks similar to the Perodua Ativa. The new Alza will come with 1 USB port upfront and 2 USB ports at the rear. Other than that, there are also 2 12V sockets around the MPV.

Under the hood, the Alza will be powered by the 1.5L 4 cylinder paired with the D-CVT. This powertrain setup is also found on the Perodua Myvi, which is a trusty powertrain. This powertrain has the ability to produce 78kW and a peak torque of 138Nm. According to Perodua, this powertrain has a good fuel economy of 22km/l.

Safety has been greatly improved on the all new Alza. The MPV will be equipped with 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, vehicle stability control (VSC) with brake assist, Pre-collision Warning, Pre-Collision Assist Brake (for vehicles and pedestrians), Mis-pedal Operational Control, and Front Departure Alert. All variants will also include Lane Departure Warning and Lane Departure Prevention systems as standard. As extra bonuses, all variants will be equipped with Leaving Home Headlamp Assist and Hill-start Assist functions.

The new Alza will be available in 5 different colors, with 2 all new colours. The colours include Ivory White, Glittering Silver, Garnet Red, Elegant Black (NEW) and Vintage Brown (NEW).
