Porsche Malaysia recently launch the 3rd generation Porsche Macan. The Porsche Macan will be available in 3 different variant, namely the regular Macan, Macan S, and Macan GTS.

For the regular Macan, it will come with a redeveloped 2.0L inline four-cylinder turbo engine that produces 261bhp and a maximum torque of 400Nm. It is 13bhp and 30Nm more than the previous generation 2.0L engine. For the Macan will accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 6.2 seconds before going on to a top speed of 232 km/h.

As for the Macan S and GTS, it will be powered by the 2.9L V6 biturbo engine but with different state of tune. For the Macan S, the engine will produce around 375bhp, and for the GTS, the engine will produce around 434bhp, which is 26bhp and 59bhp increase respectively. The Macan S wil be able to accelerate from 0-100km/h in 4.6 seconds, and a top speed of 259 km/h. As for the Macan GTS, it can accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds, and to a top speed 272 km/h when fitted with the Sport Chrono pack.

All Macan will be paired to a seven-speed Porsche dual-clutch transmission (PDK) and the Porsche Traction Management (PTM) all-wheel-drive system. As for suspension, all the different Macan will come with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) to actively and continuously regulating the damping force for each individual wheel and adapted specifically for this model.

For the new car, the exterior will get a redesigned nose with an inlay in the exterior colour, a new 3D structural element at the front, and a striking diffuser at the rear. LED headlights with the Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) and Sport Design exterior mirrors are now standard on all models. For colours, there are 14 standard colours available for the Macan which includes 2 new colours Papaya Metallic and Gentian Blue Metallic. Additional, there is the Python Green that is exclusively available for the Macan GTS. For those who wanted to individualize their car, they can paint their Macan in their favourite colour through the Individual Colour and Paint To Sample options.

For the interior, the new Macan will come with a shorter selector lever, analogue clock, 10.9-inch full HD touch display of the Porsche Communication Management, and the new multifunction and GT Sport steering wheels from the 911. The all-new Macan will come with Premium Package as standard, which adds on 14-way electric comfort seats with memory package, Power Steering Plus, Park Assist including reversing camera and surround view, automatic dimming interior and exterior mirrors, and BOSE Surround Sound System to increase overall driving pleasure.
